My name is Dave Whitney. I've been an employee of Microsoft since the beginning of 1991. Most of my career has been with the Exchange Email Server team, where I've worked on a variety of sub projects. I took a brief hiatus from that team to work on a few things in Windows Mobile for the calendar years of 1997, 1998, and 1999. I returned to Exchange at the beginning of 2000 and have worked on bunches of different things in that time.
For my off-work time, I like to play around with Lightwave 3D. I've been mucking about, occasionally learning some actual skill, since some time in 1996. Most of my creative output can be seen here. This blog is a really spare-time effort as I spend most of my free time playing in Lightwave.
